MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT IS SOLD OUT!
Magic in the Moonlight is an al fresco dinner fete held on the grounds of the New Orleans Botanical Garden. This Fall will mark our third year, and the four-course, seated dinner will be held on Friday, October 19th underneath the beautifully lit oaks.
Chairmen Carla Adams, Rebecca Schultz and Liz Sloss are pleased to announce that we are honoring Paul Soniat and Genevieve Munson Trimble at this year's dinner.
Paul Soniat has been Director of The New Orleans Botanical Garden for 30 years. Events hosted at the Botanical Garden under Paul's direction include the Spring Garden Show, the Fall Garden Show, Thursdays at Twilight Concert Series and now Magic in the Moonlight Garden Dinner.
Gen Trimble began in 1983 as head of the New Orleans Botanical Garden Advisory Committee which grew into the New Orleans Botanical Garden Foundation. In that role she has been the prime leader in restoration and enlargement of this historical garden.
Together Paul and Gen spearheaded fundraising and construction of the Pavilion of Two Sisters and the renovation of the Garden Study Center, Lath House and Conservatory. The New Orleans Historic Train Garden was constructed as well as the Zemurray Azalea/Camellia Garden, Tropical Garden, Palm Garden, Native Plant Garden and the Southern Shade Garden.
The Magic in the Moonlight dinner will be prepared by Emeril’s Chef Chris Wilson with Chefs de Cuisine from Emeril’s, NOLA and Emeril’s Delmonico. Jeremy Davenport will be our guest entertainer.
We hope you will join us for a truly incredible evening.
